Our mission is to empower and celebrate the liveaboard boating community on the Kennet & Avon canal (K&A). We build connection and resilience through advocacy, events and workshops.
We’re here to empower the thriving & resilient community on the west end of the Kennet & Avon canal.
Our workshops exist to share the skills of experienced tradespeople on the canal, giving Boaters the confidence to manage their own systems and to help prevent them from reaching crisis point.
Our events showcase the creative talent which exists on the K&A, celebrating canal culture, heritage and bringing Boaters together. They create connection across communities and develop an understanding of life on the canal.
‘Nothing about us without us’ Drawing from our lived experience and using voices from our community we connect with a range of stakeholders to advocacte for Boaters in places where decisions are being made which could affect us.
